Course Description: This course will provide a comprehensive review of the physical therapeutic assessment and management of Vestibular Disorders. The target audience includes physical therapists working with patients complaining of dizziness. Secondary audience will be physical therapist assistants and occupational therapists working with patients complaining of dizziness. This is an introductory course; no prior experience with Vestibular Rehabilitation is required. The anatomy, pathophysiology and the clinical features of common vestibular disorders will be reviewed with emphasis on therapeutic techniques used in treatment. Lecture, demonstration, videos and hands-on lab will be used to present this information.
